The Manual Breaching for Tactical Officers course is designed to teach manual breaching operations to officers assigned to tactical, special operations and warrant service teams. It requires basic tactical skills and is not for novices; students must have a LE or military tactical background to participate.

This training incorporates manual tools such as picks, rams and sledges. It will also include shotgun breaching component and teach vehicle pull techniques.

The course covers window break & rakes, doors and security doors, mission planning, intelligence gathering and analysis, officer safety, briefing and small unit tactics.

Students are required to bring the manual tools used by their agency and be advised where to purchase shotgun beaching rounds.

This is a California POST Certified Course.
